Classroom Activities CD-Rom: From Educators for Educators!
The
BODY WORLDS Classroom Activities CD-ROM contains a 97-page book of
lessons, labs, and teacher instructions. It is suited for grades 7-12.
The interdisciplinary approach is meant to encourage ¡°non-biology"
teachers to build on the BODY WORLDS exhibit as a matchless opportunity
to motivate student learning in science. The workbook is organized
according to content and according to strategies; it includes tasks of
varying complexity. Teachers may therefore use the materials at a
number of levels and courses as they address a range of student
preparedness. The CD-ROM is available at $ 14.95 in our online store.
Free Material for Students
This guide has been designed for use by students of all ages in a classroom setting, or for individual use at home. Prior to visiting BODY WORLDS we recommend that students review the guide, which is intended to help them become familiar with the exhibits and prepare them to gain the most from their learning experience. Free Family Guides
BODY WORLDS is a wonderful opportunity for children, as well as for adults, to explore, discover and learn together. The exhibition's goal is to create an educational experience for visitors of all ages to explore and witness the human body first hand. Allowing an in-depth exploration of the human body, BODY WORLDS presents anatomy in a way never experienced through conventional textbooks, educational tools and lessons. Visitors who are familiar with the nature of the exhibits often have a more enjoyable and valuable educational experience.
