Use of online images from the picture database at www.bodyworlds.com

1. The Institute for Plastination (hereafter referred to as "IfP") grants the publication mentioned below the right to use press images from the press picture database.

2. The images may be published exclusively in the publication mentioned below on the exhibits BODY WORLDS (BODY WORLDS 1, BODY WORLDS 2, BODY WORLDS 3, BODY WORLDS 4, KÖRPERWELTEN), the Plastination technique and Dr. Gunther von Hagens. Any other use of the press images is subject to the IfP's explicit prior written approval.

3. The signatory undertakes to place the copyright: Gunther von Hagens' BODY WORLDS, Institute for Plastination, Heidelberg, Germany, www.bodyworlds.com right next to the picture.

4. The signatory undertakes to send, free of charge, two voucher copies of the publication to the Institute for Plastination, Rathausstr. 11, 69126 Heidelberg, Germany, within the two weeks of the publication of the press photos.

5. The signatory undertakes not to disclose to third parties access codes he/she received for the press picture database and also not to pass the images to third parties.

6. Should the press images be published on the Internet, the IfP shall be informed about the URL on the day of publication via an e-mail to hd.pressoffice@plastination.com. Furthermore, the use of press photos on the Internet shall be limited to no more than three images.
   Reference to the homepage www.bodyworlds.com with a link shall be made directly under the published press image along with an image credit to the Institute for Plastination.
   Furthermore, the use of press photos on the Internet may be limited and the IfP may revoke permission to use the images online, with reasonable cause, at any time.

7. Use of images other than for current news coverage in periodicals is prohibited.  Use of images in published books, including textbooks; and any printed or reproduced material in any format is prohibited. 

8. In case of unapproved use of the photographs, the signatory obliges herself/himself according to No. 1 to pay a contractual penalty of US$1,500 to the IfP. This doesn't apply if the signatory acted guiltlessly. This contractual penalty will fall due even if the IfP should ascertain at a later point in time that information which was provided was incorrect.
